Bautafilm / Oskar Östergren Njajta
is is part of a flourishing Sami film industry.
He’s a filmmaker, screenwriter, film producer, and contributed to the the movie success, Sami blood, as a co-producer. He works with both developing animated children’s series and a drama series, is the founder and co-owner of Bautafilm based in Dearna/Tärnaby, and also the initiator and leader of the indigenous film and art festival “Dellie maa” in Dearna. Njajta is a member of the Sami Council’s Culture Committee and vice-chairman of Sámi Filbmabargiid Séarvi.
